Terms of Service
The rules for using the service: what a page is, who is responsible for what, how billing works and what happens to your data.
01Agreement
By creating a workspace or using the service you agree to these terms on behalf of the organization you represent. If you sign an order form with us, the order form takes priority where the two differ.
02The service
The service reads documents you submit, extracts structured data with confidence scores, routes uncertain fields for human review, applies your approval rules and exports results to destinations you configure. Readers, exports and limits available to you depend on your Page Pack.
03Pages and usage
- A page is one side of one sheet or one image submitted for reading. Pages that fail to process are not counted.
- Included pages reset each billing month and do not roll over unless your order form says otherwise.
- Pages above your included amount are billed at your plan’s extra-page rate unless you set a hard cap.
- The free trial includes 500 pages and ends when those pages are used or after 30 days, whichever comes first.
04Accuracy and your review
Extraction is automated and every field carries a confidence score. You control the review thresholds and approval rules. You remain responsible for the accounting entries, payments, credit and onboarding decisions you make with the data, and for reviewing fields the service flags.
The KYC Reader organizes identity documents. It does not replace verification steps you are required to perform by law.
05Your documents and data
You keep all rights to the documents you submit and the data extracted from them. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service to you. You confirm you have the right to submit them, including consent from individuals whose identity documents you upload. Our handling of this data is described in the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing terms.
06Acceptable use
- Do not submit documents you are not authorized to process.
- Do not use the service to forge, alter or fabricate financial or identity documents.
- Do not attempt to access other customers’ data, probe the service for vulnerabilities without written permission, or overload the API beyond published limits.
- Do not resell the service without a written partner agreement.
07Fees and billing
Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance, with extra pages billed monthly in arrears. Prices are listed in USD; customers in India may be invoiced in INR with applicable GST. Unpaid invoices more than 30 days overdue may lead to suspension after notice. Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
08Availability and support
We work to keep the service available at all times and schedule maintenance outside Indian business hours where possible. Support channels depend on your plan. Warehouse customers may have service levels set out in their order form.
09Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses, and each party’s total liability under these terms is limited to the fees paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. This limit does not apply to breaches of confidentiality, misuse of the other party’s data or amounts you owe for the service.
10Ending the agreement
You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. On termination you have 30 days to export your data, after which documents and extracted data are deleted.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction.
