Onboarding documents, read with consent.

KYC Reader extracts name, date of birth, ID number and address from identity and address proofs, compares them with each other and stores every read against a consent record. Numbers are masked by default.

What happens

Fields are read, cross-checked between documents and quality checks are run on the image.

Out

A masked KYC record linked to its consent, ready for your onboarding or lending workflow.

What it handles

Faster onboarding without loosening control.

For lenders, NBFCs, brokers and any business that verifies customers or vendors.

Identity fields

Name, date of birth, gender, ID number, issue and expiry dates where printed.

Address proofs

Utility bills, bank letters and rent agreements read into a structured address with PIN code.

Cross-document match

Name and address are compared across the ID and address proof, with the differences shown.

Image quality checks

Blur, glare, cropped edges and photocopies of photocopies are flagged before data is used.

Masked by default

ID numbers display as XXXX XXXX 4821. Full values are revealed only to permitted roles, and each reveal is logged.

Consent record

Purpose, timestamp, retention and the person’s acknowledgement stored with every KYC file.

From paper to posted

From customer upload to verified record

01

Consent

The person agrees to a stated purpose before any document is uploaded or read.

02

Capture

A guided upload checks framing and image quality in the moment.

03

Read and compare

Fields are extracted and compared across documents, with confidence on each.

04

Hand over

A masked record goes to your onboarding system. Documents are deleted on schedule.

Trust notes

Identity data, handled the way it should be.

These controls are part of the KYC Reader for every account. They cannot be switched off for convenience.

Confidence on every field

Each extracted value carries a score. Anything below your threshold goes to a person before it is used.

Consent and masking

ID documents are processed only with the person’s consent. ID numbers are masked by default and access is restricted by role.

Encrypted and time-limited

Documents are encrypted, kept only for the period your company sets, then deleted.

Never shared for training

Customer documents are never used to train models for other customers.

Questions

KYC Reader questions

Is KYC Reader a replacement for official verification?
No. It reads and organizes the documents and prepares a clean record. Your regulated verification steps stay with you and your verification partners.
How long are ID documents kept?
For the retention period you set per workflow, for example 90 days after onboarding. Then the images and extracted data are deleted.
Who can see a full ID number?
Only roles you permit. Everyone else sees the masked value, and every reveal is logged with user and time.
